Construction of a new small-scale production facility for generating electricity using solar energy – MSE NAFTA STROJNA
Nafta Strojna d.o.o. specializes in the manufacturing and servicing of equipment for the storage and handling of liquid energy media, as well as in the production and installation of steel structures. Through its operations, the company is committed to environmental and community responsibility. By continuously investing in the modernization of technological processes in accordance with best available techniques, it minimizes environmental impacts to the greatest possible extent. In this context, the company set the goal of implementing an investment project for the construction of a solar power plant, aiming to contribute to increased use of renewable energy sources. For this purpose, we applied to the public call for co-financing the construction of new small-scale electricity generation facilities using solar energy (JR SE OVE 2021), published by the Ministry of Infrastructure, with the project MSE NAFTA STROJNA.
The project involves the installation of a solar power plant with a capacity of 0.606 MW on the roofs of the company’s production and office buildings at Trimlini 1b, 9220 Lendava.
Main objectives and reasons for the project:
As part of the public call, we obtained co-financing for external contractors for the purchase and installation of equipment for electricity generation using solar energy, amounting to 20% of eligible costs. The investment is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the Cohesion Fund (www.eu-skladi.si ).
